Doughnut fans and Pokémon fans have got a proper reason to be excited today, as Krispy Kreme rolls out a fresh collection built entirely around the iconic character franchise. Four new treats have landed as of today, though anyone tempted will want to move quickly, since they’re only sticking around for a limited run.
The partnership marks 30 years of Pokémon, and Krispy Kreme has clearly leaned into that milestone rather than doing anything half-hearted. The new range is available across participating stores in the UK, as well as through the brand’s app and website, meaning fans don’t necessarily need to track down a physical shop to get their hands on one.
There are four new doughnuts, each one styled around a fan-favourite character.
Each doughnut in the collection comes topped with a small character plaque, tying the design directly back to its Pokémon namesake rather than just borrowing the branding loosely.
First up is the Pikachu, a Lemon Sherbet Kreme doughnut finished with a bright yellow lemon icing, clearly designed to mirror the character’s colouring. Then there’s the Jigglypuff, built on an Original Glazed ring and dressed up with strawberry frosting and a strawberry biscuit crumb for a bit of texture alongside the sweetness.
For anyone who prefers their doughnuts properly filled, the Charmander is likely to be the standout, packed with dulce de leche and marshmallow and finished with a caramel icing dip, a combination that leans into indulgence rather than subtlety. Rounding out the initial four is the Poké Ball doughnut, an Original Glazed ring covered in white icing and finished with sprinkles designed to echo the instantly recognisable Poké Ball pattern.
Krispy Kreme isn’t stopping at four doughnuts, either. Two further mystery flavours are set to join the range on 7 September, so fans who want the full set will want to keep checking back in stores over the coming weeks to see what else turns up.
How much everything costs, and how to get hold of it
Individually, each doughnut costs £2.99, available both to buy in person and via click and collect, or delivered straight to your door through the Krispy Kreme app and website. For anyone planning to share, or simply wanting to try more than one flavour, there are bundle options too: a four pack comes in at £9.99, a six pack at £13.99, and a full dozen at £19.99.
The collaboration doesn’t stop at doughnuts, either. A special edition Pokémon cup is also available for £9.99, which comes filled with ten Original Glazed Gold Bites, giving fans a slightly different way to get involved beyond the core doughnut range.

Keep an eye out for the collectable extras too.
Alongside the standard range, Krispy Kreme is also running a few limited extras you may be interested in. Randomised mystery boxes containing one of the four core doughnuts are available until 23 August, giving fans a bit of a lucky dip element if they fancy the surprise factor. There are also limited-edition collector’s boxes, available specifically through Tesco until 31 August, as well as on certain delivery orders, for anyone who wants to hang onto the packaging as much as enjoy what’s inside it.
What Krispy Kreme has said about the collaboration
According to Krispy Kreme’s chief brand and product officer, the team had fun bringing the world of Pokémon to life through doughnuts in a way that only the brand could pull off. She pointed to the character-inspired creations, playful flavour combinations, themed cups, special packaging and the mystery element as all being part of what makes the collection feel like something worth catching and sharing, tying it back neatly to the franchise’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
With several elements of the collaboration only running for a few weeks, and the two mystery flavours not landing until early September, fans hoping to try everything on offer will need to keep an eye on dates rather than assuming everything will still be available later in the autumn. Given how quickly novelty collaborations like this tend to sell out, especially around a milestone anniversary as big as this one, it’s probably one to plan around rather than leave until the last minute.
