Whether Mini Cheddars count as crisps, crackers, or biscuits has always been a bit of a debate among snack lovers, a bit like the ongoing Jaffa Cake argument. But regardless of which category they actually belong to, one thing most shoppers agree on is that they’re incredibly tasty. The crunchy, cheese-packed snack has been a staple on shelves for more than four decades, and over the years the brand has branched out well beyond its original cheese flavour, introducing versions like cheese and onion, smoky BBQ, and cheese and pickle along the way.
The two flavours making a comeback are major fan favourites.
Now, fans of the snack have something to get excited about, as two popular limited-edition flavours are officially returning after a four-year absence. The first is Cheese Pizza, designed for anyone who loves the taste of a cheesy slice. This version combines the brand’s familiar crunchy texture with pizza-inspired seasoning, aiming to capture that classic flavour in bite-sized form. The second returning flavour is Cheeseburger, taking inspiration from another all-time favourite. This one attempts to recreate the taste of a classic burger within Mini Cheddars’ signature small, crunchy bites.

Both flavours originally launched as limited-edition releases back in June 2022. At the time, the brand’s marketing director for savoury snacks explained the goal was to accelerate sales through limited-edition, street food-inspired new products, particularly around the lunchtime treat occasion, whether that meant shoppers elevating a lunch at home or grabbing an individual packet on the move for a bit of cheesy indulgence.
How can you get your hands on them, and when?
Anyone keen to try the returning flavours will need to move quickly, as both Cheese Pizza and Cheeseburger are only available for a limited time. The new varieties are being sold in six-packs, giving shoppers the chance to stock up while they’re still around. They’re currently available in B&M, though it’s unclear if they’ll eventually make their way to other shops and supermarkets.
Shoppers are thrilled to see these products coming back to stores.
Reaction on social media has been largely enthusiastic so far. One person commenting on Facebook said they “look tasty,” while another simply called them “banging.” A third wrote that they’d “got to try these,” and one particularly committed fan admitted they were planning on keeping an entire six-pack of Cheese Pizza flavour all to themselves, with no intention of sharing.
